Job summary

Sabey Data Center Properties, LLC is seeking a Data Center Mechanical Project Engineer to join our design team in Austin, TX. You will support design, construction, commissioning, and continuous improvement of critical cooling infrastructure for mission‑critical data centers.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in mechanical design or project engineering for data centers, with strong knowledge of HVAC, chilled water, CRAH/CRAC units, and piping systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in mechanical design or project engineering for data centers or similar facilities.
• Experience with HVAC, hydronic piping, and controls coordination.

Responsibilities

• Support design and development of mechanical systems for data center projects including chilled water systems and piping.
• Collaborate with A&E firms to align designs with Owner Project Requirements and Sabey standards.
• Develop and maintain mechanical engineering standards and design guidelines.
• Assist in equipment sizing, hydraulic calculations, and technical evaluations.
