Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Fort Worth is seeking a Data Center Logistics Specialist I to support inventory, asset management, and data management in a data center environment. You will receive and ship goods and assist with installation or decommissioning of assets using WMS and MHE.

Responsibilities include handling incoming/outgoing hardware, server rack and stack, labeling and documentation, and maintenance/upgrades of servers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Previous experience in a data center is desirable.
• Ability to utilize computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming/outgoing hardware and manage inventory, tagging, and tracking.
• Install servers and connect power and network cables, troubleshoot basic hardware issues.
• Prepare hardware before deployment with labeling, configuration, and quality checks.
• Perform routine DC hardware installation including rack and stack, labeling, documentation, and housekeeping.
• Respond to alerts promptly to minimize downtime.
• Maintain and upgrade servers, perform routine maintenance and outage resolution.
• Ensure environmental conditions prevent overheating or outages.
• Maintain data center security protocols and protect sensitive data.
