Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Logistics Associate for 1st shift (6:30am–3:30pm, Mon–Fri) in Texas. You will manage inventory, coordinate shipments, and maintain a safe, organized workspace to support data center operations.

You’ll assist in server rack setup and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet logistics needs. The role requires 1 year in logistics, basic software skills, and ability to lift and move heavy items.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience in logistics, inventory management, or related fields.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic office software (Excel/Word).
• Ability to perform basic math and read safety/operating instructions.
• Familiarity with lifting techniques and material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and record all incoming inventory and ensure accurate documentation.
• Coordinate inbound/outbound shipments with suppliers and carriers.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and storage/docks.
• Follow safety protocols and security measures for data center materials.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet inventory and logistics needs.
• Assist in setting up/installing computer server racks per provided instructions and support senior technicians.
