GXO Logistics, Inc. in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking a Data Center Logistics Associate to manage inventory, coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, and assist in installing server racks to support data center operations.

The role requires a high school diploma and about one year of logistics experience. You will work with cross‑functional teams, adhere to safety protocols, and help maintain a clean, organized workspace with opportunities for growth in a global logistics leader.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of experience in logistics, inventory management, or related fields
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic office software (Excel/Word)
• Ability to perform basic math, read safety procedures, and interpret documents
• Familiarity with lifting techniques and material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks)

Responsibilities

• Inventory Management: receive, inspect, and record all incoming inventory; maintain accurate inventory records; perform regular stock counts.
• Shipping and Receiving: coordinate inbound/outbound shipments; prepare shipping documents; inspect shipments for accuracy.
• Facility Maintenance: keep work areas clean and organized; assist with disposal of packaging materials and obsolete equipment.
• Compliance and Safety: follow safety protocols and access controls.
• Support and Collaboration: work with cross-functional teams to fulfill inventory and logistics needs; support special projects.
• Assist in setup and installation of computer server racks according to instructions; help in assembly of server racks.
• Handle basic tools safely; assist senior technicians with cable management and organization.
• Work schedule may include overtime and requires a positive, team-oriented attitude.
