Job summary

Wesco is seeking a Data Center Logistic Associate in Texas to support secure, high-precision handling of IT hardware within mission-critical data centers. You will manage inbound/outbound shipments, log and verify materials, and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure accurate inventory and timely mobility of equipment.

The role requires 1–3 years in logistics, familiarity with IT infrastructure, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

High School Degree or equivalent required.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage delicate, high-value equipment with precise, white-glove handling.
Receive, log, and process inbound shipments, verify quantities and condition of materials.
Prepare, pack, label, and stage outbound shipments with packing lists and loading.
Verify supplier returns and enter order receipts into inventory systems.
Relocate, consolidate, and organize materials within storage and staging areas.
Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation (logs, bills of lading, delivery receipts, invoices).
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers and internal teams for timely availability of materials.
Coordinate transportation and deliveries between storage locations and data center facilities.
Communicate with internal teams, vendors, and logistics partners for timely material movement.
Identify opportunities to improve logistics, inventory, and material-handling processes.
Assist with other logistics-related duties as needed.
