Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Data Center Logistics Manager to oversee spare parts rooms across staffed and un-staffed Data Centers. You will optimize inventory movement, set performance goals and lead cross-functional teams to meet customer expectations while ensuring compliance and operational excellence.

The role involves coordinating with senior leadership, managing staffing plans, and driving continuous improvement across the logistics function within AWS data centers in Georgia, including Lithia

Qualifications

• 3+ years of logistics operations experience.
• 4+ years of shipping & receiving, inventory and warehousing practices experience.
• 5+ years in a management position with 5+ direct reports.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple spare parts rooms in Data Centers and drive continuous improvement of work methods, controls, and staffing.
• Ensure performance plans are set, maintained and improved to achieve accurate inventory movement.
• Lead and coordinate with Logistics Managers on productivity and labor balance.
• Act as Logistics business leader and primary point of contact for internal/external teams and customers.
• Drive staffing plans, coordinate meetings, and remove roadblocks for major initiatives.
