Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Data Center Logistics Specialist III for a 2nd shift in the Kansas City area. The role supports data center operations, coordinating daily activities, assigning tasks by priority and SLA, and ensuring accurate inventory and timely reporting.

Responsibilities include coaching teams, tracking performance, and driving safety culture, with a focus on clear handoffs between shifts and effective collaboration with transport and tech ops teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Able to read, write, and speak English.
• Data center experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and direct daily activities across assigned teams.
• Assign work based on priority, SLA, and workload balancing.
• Ensure all operational workflows (receiving, inventory, rack delivery, decommissioning) are executed efficiently.
• Monitor real-time performance and adjust work assignments.
• Track daily performance using scorecards, dashboards, or trackers.
• Coach and train team productivity, accuracy, and SLA adherence.
• Provide shift-level reporting (recaps, escalation summaries, and performance updates).
• Break down daily/shift plans into actionable tasks.
• Anticipate bottlenecks and adjust tasks proactively.
• Oversee inventory accuracy and discrepancy resolution.
• Ensure proper execution of inventory transactions and tracking.
