DSV is hiring a Data Center Associate Kitting for the Lancaster, NY datacenter. This full-time role reports to the Solutions division and involves daily handling of freight, quality checks, and server rack installation tasks.

The position requires the ability to perform repetitive lifting, work with various tools, and operate warehouse equipment. Compensation includes a base hourly wage and company benefits.

Qualifications

• Candidate must be able to perform manual material handling and operate warehouse equipment.
• Comfortable with repetitive lifting and standing for long periods.
• Attention to quality checks and shipping documentation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee loading and unloading of inbound and outbound freight to and from vehicles and containers, including management of shipping documents and records.
• Perform quality checks on inbound and outbound freight, verifying part numbers and quantities.
• Execute daily inventory cycle counts and replenishment orders for critical spare parts on site at the datacenter.
• Process return shipments of electronic components using multiple warehouse management systems.
• Oversee placement of server racks on the datacenter floor with accuracy.
• Install cabling into server racks following provided diagrams and schematics.
• Install rack hardware using hand, power and measuring tools.
• Operate material handling equipment such as straddle stackers, rack movers and electric pallet jacks.
• Maintain clean and safe work area following 5S standards.
• Push, pull and lift as part of daily duties.
