Job summary

Verrus is seeking a Product Manager, Data Center Engineering, to own electrical and mechanical plant infrastructure across Verrus' data centers. You'll translate customer needs into engineering inputs and coordinate with suppliers and the contracting base for delivery.

Based ideally in Verrus' Mountain View, CA office, you will connect hardware, PFMS, software, and Dispatch to build a coherent product and drive the roadmap end-to-end in a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in ME or EE (Master's or equivalent).
• Up to 10 years of hardware/software systems experience in engineering, PM, or TPM roles.
• Proven ability to lead customer-facing, deep technical conversations.
• Experience working with external suppliers, contractors, or contracting base.
• Strong written and verbal communication across engineering, delivery, contracting, and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Electrical & Mechanical Plant Infrastructure Ownership: own PM of key plant infra and adapt for customer use cases.
• Supplier & Contracting Base Management: work with external suppliers for installation and operation.
• Systems Integration: tie hardware, controls, software, and dispatch into a coherent product.
• Customer-Facing Technical Engagement: lead deep technical conversations to scope requirements.
• Requirements Translation & Engineering Partnership: translate needs to inputs for engineering.
• Cross-Functional Roadmap Execution: collaborate to realize the product roadmap from design to commissioning.
