Job summary

Averro is seeking a Data Center & Infrastructure Engineer to own and operate a private data center across nine sites in Bellevue, WA. You will deploy VMware environments, manage HPE hardware lifecycles, and coordinate storage, backups, and power systems.

The role requires strong hands-on experience with DCIM, ITIL change management, and scripting (Ansible, PowerShell, Bash). On-site work is expected, with comprehensive benefits and a veteran‑owned staffing partner backing your career.

Qualifications

BS/BA or equivalent with 6+ years in data center or enterprise infrastructure.
Proficiency in VMware vSphere/ESXi/vCenter and HPE hardware.
Experience with SAN/NAS, iSCSI, NFS, FC, and enterprise backup solutions.
Ability to lift/rack equipment up to 50 lbs and work across multiple sites.
Familiar with ITIL change processes and scripting (Ansible, PowerShell, Bash).

Responsibilities

Own and operate a private data center and nine-site infrastructure.
Deploy and maintain VMware environments; manage server lifecycle.
Monitor UPS, PDUs, and environmental conditions; respond to power alarms across sites.
Administer SAN/NAS/storage; manage backup jobs and recovery testing (RTO/RPO).
Support change management; maintain runbooks and asset inventories; participate in on-call rotation.
