Amazon Data Services, Inc. in the United States is seeking a Data Center Infrastructure Engineer Intern for Summer 2027 across Midwest/Southeast regions.

You will support data center design inception through site improvements and maintenance, serving as the go-to engineering resource for your region. The role involves partnering with cross-disciplinary teams, prioritizing capacity and safety, and contributing to projects both locally and globally.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Power Systems, Fluid Dynamics, or Thermodynamics.
• Valid and active driver's license.
• Enrolled in an academic program located in the United States.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Work 40 hours/week minimum and commit to a 12 week internship maximum.
• Relocation to internship base may be required.
• Bachelor’s degree with expected conferral between Oct 2027–Dec 2030.

Responsabilités

• Perform design and equipment submittal review for new Data Centers in your region.
• Troubleshoot, conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and create Corrective Action (CA) documentation for site/equipment failures.
• Directly support operational issues with ad-hoc training, SOP reviews, including critical equipment, and event support.
• Interface with internal data center design engineering team, server hardware, EHS to promote standards.
• Work on concurrent projects, sometimes in multiple geographical regions.
