Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Network Install Technician to install and upgrade large enterprise network hardware, cabling, and related infrastructure. You will work with cross‑functional teams to ensure reliable, scalable, and secure deployments in data centers and regional facilities.

The role requires hands‑on technical work, problem solving, and travel to multiple data center sites. Flexibility to operate in a 24/7 environment and willingness to relocate if needed are valued.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Computer Hardware Repair, Infrastructure Cabling, Network Deployment, or Data Center Operations experience
• High School diploma or equivalent (as minimum education)

Responsibilities

• Move and install large enterprise equipment
• Install fiber and copper cabling and patching between equipment
• Ensure safety and security standards during cabling and rack installation
• Follow established hardware installation procedures and break‑fix activities
• Travel within and outside the regional work area as required; have reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
