Job summary

Cologix, a Denver-based data center company, seeks a Data Center HVAC Technician for second shift (Wednesday–Saturday, 2pm–12am). The role covers critical cooling, refrigeration systems, and 24x7 operations to protect uptime and environmental stability.

The technician will work across chillers, CRAC/CRAH units, in-row cooling, cooling towers, pumps, valves, and controls, ensuring safe operation and compliance with site standards.

Qualifications

• Experience operating and maintaining data center cooling systems.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical failures and perform corrective repairs.
• Strong adherence to safety protocols and site standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate, inspect, maintain, repair, and modify critical cooling and refrigeration systems in the data center.
• Perform preventive maintenance and minor corrective adjustments on HVAC systems.
• Diagnose mechanical failures and perform corrective repairs to restore cooling performance.
• Support mechanical upgrades, installations, and infrastructure changes.
• Monitor equipment condition and environmental trends to identify risks.
• Provide oversight during vendor-performed maintenance and services.
• Document maintenance activities and equipment condition with accuracy.
• Maintain readiness of HVAC tools and spare parts.
• Provide mechanical support during incidents and maintenance windows.
