Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking seasoned chiller mechanics to join our North America HVAC service teams. You’ll work on light to heavy commercial systems, troubleshoot complex equipment, and participate in training through our STA program.

Travel and on-site customer support are core aspects of the role. Our team emphasizes safety, teamwork, and a path for advancement within a leading global provider of building technologies.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in commercial/industrial HVAC troubleshooting (8+ yrs).
• Requires ammonia/hydrocarbon safety training and licenses.
• Ability to install/repair chillers, rooftop units and related mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair commercial HVACR systems including chillers and rooftop units.
• Repair centrifugal compressors, steam turbines, screw chillers and ammonia/hydrocarbon components.
• Travel up to 20% to support branch customers and field installations.
• Provide quotes and contribute to JCI Service Plus Rewards program.
