Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Health and Safety Manager to own the health and safety function of the data center area.

You will work with data center engineers and partner with security, construction, operations, compliance and HR to advance safety culture and protect employees. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 4+ years of compliance program management, governance, audit, risk prevention, or equivalent experience, or 8 years total experience.
• Experience implementing health and safety standards, policies and practices including risk assessments and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Implement health and safety standards, policies and practices including risk assessments.
• Conduct health and safety audits of data centers and active construction sites for compliance.
• Ensure compliance with global health and safety programs beyond regulatory requirements.
• Develop on-site emergency, business continuity, and other safety plans.
• Maintain safety record keeping and data integrity.
• Perform data trend analysis to support leadership and safety initiatives.
• Consult with AWS compliance for interpretations and guidance.
• Identify risks and work with Operations to mitigate via controls.
• Interact daily with customers delivering health and safety guidance.
