Job summary

Amazon Health and Safety Manager DCA (Warrenton, VA) leads the health and safety function for its data center area. You will work with data center engineers and cross-functional teams to advance safety culture, manage risks, and ensure compliance with regulations and corporate standards.

The role requires regular travel across data center campuses and obtaining TS clearance within 18 months. A pivotal position to protect employees and support AWS's safety ambitions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Experience handling confidential information.
• 4+ years of compliance program management, governance, audit or related experience; or 8 years in the same.
• Experience implementing health and safety standards, policies and practices.

Responsibilities

• Implement health and safety standards, policies and practices including safety management systems and training.
• Conduct health and safety audits of data centers and active construction sites for compliance.
• Ensure global health and safety program compliance and above regulatory requirements.
• Develop health and safety plans for on-site emergencies and business continuity.
• Maintain safety records and data integrity.
• Perform data trend analysis for leadership insights.
