Qualifications
Computer Science majors OR CompTIA A+ or Server+ certifications.
Experience as a Data Center Technician, with hardware break-fix responsibilities.
Previous experience with Geek Squad computer repair or similar computer repair technician roles.
Knowledge of computer hardware, servers, and components.
1 year of experience supporting IT equipment or related technology.
Basic understanding of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).
Flexibility to work non-standard business hours, including weekends and/or holidays.
Responsibilities
Prepare, stage, set up, and perform start-ups and shutdowns of IT equipment.
Conduct post-execution quality checks to ensure proper grounding and cabling.
Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware issues and perform break-fix repairs.
Decommission hardware for system refreshes, including memory upgrades.
Monitor systems for equipment failures or errors.
