Qualifications

• BS, BA, or BEng in a technical field or commensurate experience.
• Ability to travel up to 30%.
• Experience leading technical projects related to process improvement, technology, and automation.
• 5+ years of experience managing teams of technical resources.
• Understanding of data center infrastructure and operations (power, cooling, networks).
• Structured cabling and management of projects, incidents, and vendors.
• Experience using data and metrics to drive decision-making.
• Ability to influence effectively in cross-functional teams.
• 10+ years of engineering or operations experience with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to communicate effectively to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a geographically dispersed, high-performing data center operations team.
• Establish and manage a Data Center Operations Team for maintenance and operation of server hardware and infrastructure at scale.
• Become a technical expert in Meta's infrastructure, platforms, tools, systems, architecture, workflows, and performance.
• Provide strategic direction and support for site and fleet-level operations.
• Analyze and drive continuous improvement in engineering and operational performance of data centers.
• Employ data analytics to identify inefficiencies and risks; enable rapid problem solving.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure fleet health and optimized operations.
• Evolve processes to scale globally and support growth.
• Support and mentor engineers in daily work and in growth opportunities.
• Foster ownership, innovation, collaboration, accountability, and safety.
• Conduct performance management for a technical engineering team.
• Act as incident manager for large-scale site/region-wide events and communicate status and plans.
• Support business practices and automated tooling development.
• Develop deep knowledge of a hyper-scale fleet through data analysis to identify trends.
• Report globally and share findings with peers.
