The Data Center Fleet Operations Manager will lead a geographically dispersed team responsible for production server hardware, SLA/KPI delivery, and incident resolution across Meta's data centers in a 24/7 operations environment.

You will set strategic direction, mentor engineers, drive data-driven improvements, manage cross-functional projects, and ensure scalable, high-availability infrastructure.

Qualifications

• BS, BA, or BEng in a technical field or commensurate experience.
• Ability to travel up to 30% is required.
• Experience leading technical projects related to process improvement, technology, and/or automation.
• 5+ years of experience managing teams of technical resources.
• Understanding of data center infrastructure and/or operations, including power, cooling, and/network systems.
• Experience using data and metrics to drive decision-making.
• 10+ years of engineering or operations experience, preferably in a mature environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a geographically dispersed data center operations team.
• Establish and manage a Data Center Operations Team for server hardware and infrastructure at scale.
• Become a technical expert in Meta's infrastructure and tools.
• Provide strategic direction and support for site and fleet-level operations.
• Analyze and drive continuous improvement in engineering and operational performance.
• Use data analytics to identify inefficiencies and risks; enable rapid problem solving.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize fleet health and capacity.
• Evolve processes for scalable global growth.
• Mentor engineers and foster ownership, innovation, and safety.
• Serve as incident manager for large-scale incidents and communicate resolutions.
