Qualifications

• BS, BA, or BEng in a technical field or commensurate experience
• Ability to travel up to 30% is required
• Experience leading technical projects related to process improvement, technology, and/or automation
• 5+ years of experience managing teams of technical resources
• Understanding of data center infrastructure and/or operations
• Experience managing projects, incidents, and vendors
• Experience using data and metrics to drive decision-making
• Ability to influence effectively with cross-functional teams
• 10+ years of engineering or operations experience with cross-functional teams
• Strong communication tailored to audience

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a geographically dispersed data center operations team
• Establish and manage a Data Center Operations Team for server hardware and infrastructure
• Become a technical expert in Meta's infrastructure
• Provide strategic direction and support for fleet-level operations
• Analyze and drive continuous improvement in engineering and operations
• Use data analytics to identify inefficiencies and risks
• Collaborate with cross-functional partner teams to maintain fleet health
• Evolve and optimize processes for scalable growth
• Mentor engineers and foster ownership, innovation, and safety
• Act as incident manager during large-scale production events
• Support and contribute to automation tooling and best practices
• Develop deep knowledge of a hyper-scale computing fleet through data analysis
• Report out globally to peers
