Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking an entry-level Data Center Service Delivery Field Support Engineer (L1) to provide professional first-line onsite technical support and field engineering services at client sites. You will proactively identify and resolve incidents, aiming for zero SLA breaches, while configuring infrastructure and software as required by the client.

The role emphasizes proactive incident management, collaboration with client environments and vendors, and reliable escalation when needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology or Computing or related field.
• Associate level certification in Data Centre technologies such as Cisco, NetApp, EMC – CCNA (DC) etc.
• Entry level experience in building, deploying and supporting data center networking infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line onsite technical support and field engineering service to clients.
• Restore services by managing incidents and guiding resolution to meet SLA.
• Configure and verify infrastructure components and software per client requirements.
• Liaise with client IT environments, carriers and colleagues to expedite diagnosis and resolution.
• Provide first-line remote and onsite support and report issues to vendors if needed.
• Follow handover procedures to ensure service continuity.
