Job summary

Knowit Training is seeking a Site Superintendent for a data center white space tenant fit-out in Boyce, LA. You will observe, verify, and document construction activity, progress, and site conditions, and provide field evidence to the Senior Project Manager.

This full-time, on-site role requires five years of field supervision and OSHA 30-Hour certification, with experience in MOP/SOP/EOP, commissioning witness, and Procore/Bluebeam tools.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of field supervision or owner’s field representation in commercial construction.
• At least 3 years in operating data centers.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification.

Responsibilities

• Field Presence, Observation, and Documentation: submit daily field reports and attend key meetings.
• Schedule and Progress Verification: compare reported progress vs. field conditions and look-ahead plans.
• Change and Field Condition Verification: verify change requests with photos and notes.
• Payment Application Field Support: walk pay apps with the GC and provide summaries.
• Quality Observation: monitor installations and QA/QC inspections for closure before commissioning.
• Safety, Security, and Live-Environment Protection: report unsafe conditions and ensure ESD, floor protection, and access controls.
• Field Coordination and Liaison: liaise with facility operator, security, and vendors on logistics.
• Commissioning Support: witness commissioning activities and document issues impacting CX schedules.
• Punch List and Closeout: participate in owner punch walks and verify as-builts and attic stock.
• Authority and Role Boundaries: this is an observe-and-report role under the Senior Project Manager.
