Job summary

Convergint Technologies, LLC is seeking a full-time Field Project Manager to lead installation, programming, start-up, testing, and training on Fire, Security, and Building Automation projects. You will manage sites within contract scope, budget, and schedule, coordinating with teams to ensure successful delivery and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer focus and ability to work under pressure
• Strong field supervision and installation experience in building automation, fire alarm, and/or security systems
• Proven ability to troubleshoot problems and find solutions
• Must be a self-starter and work well without supervision
• Ability to read blueprints and drawings; strong math skills
• Frequent jobsite visits; valid driver's license
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Advanced organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Highly proficient with MS Office applications

Responsibilities

• Oversees overall site management of project(s) for timely completion within budget and scope.
• Coordinates with Project Coordinator to prepare installation plans and procedures.
• Supervises Project Specialists, Installers and subcontractors in the field and mentors staff.
• Recruits and hires Project Specialists and Installers; manages performance of direct reports.
• Coordinates and supervises subcontractors and quality assurance.
• Works with Project Coordinator to coordinate projects and assess scope changes to improve customer satisfaction.
