Job summary

Jabil is seeking a Data Center Field Engineer for NY/NJ metro facilities to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and replace server and infrastructure hardware in customer data centers. Shift: nights and weekends, 6:00pm–2:00am with on-call Saturday hours.

You will work on-site, coordinate with remote support, document activities, and ensure security and change-control requirements are met. Responsibilities include hardware replacement, diagnostics, system restoration, and collaboration with remote

Qualifications

• Experience with data center hardware and components.
• Ability to perform basic diagnostics and rack installations.
• Excellent documentation and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute hardware replacement and upgrade procedures with minimal disruption.
• On-site installation and upgrade of server/infrastructure hardware.
• Coordinate with remote support to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Document work in ticketing system with serial numbers.
• Adhere to security, safety, and change-management requirements.
