Job summary

Comet Cloud is seeking an on-site field engineer to install, rack, cable, and connect nodes on deployment teams. You will also serve as the on-site engineer during production, swapping components safely under change control and running smart-hands for our remote engineers.

You will deepen expertise on GPU clusters, InfiniBand, and liquid cooling while collaborating with a lean team that values practical, floor-level problem solving and continuous learning.

Qualifications

Experience with break/fix on production systems.
Basic proficiency in Linux, networking, and BIOS/BMC.
Willingness to work on GPU clusters and advanced cooling tech.

Responsibilities

Install, rack, cable, and connect nodes on deployment teams.
Serve as on-site engineer during production, swapping components safely under change control.
Provide on-site support and assist remote engineers with hands-on tasks.
