Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking an Outside Plant Fiber Technician to support the installation, maintenance, and expansion of enterprise fiber optic infrastructure in Burlington, TX. This contract role targets candidates with experience in fiber optics, structured cabling, telecommunications, construction, and field operations.

Outside Plant (OSP) Fiber Technician

We are seeking an OSP Fiber Technician to support the installation, maintenance, and expansion of enterprise fiber optic infrastructure. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in fiber optics, structured cabling, telecommunications, construction, and field operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, test, troubleshoot, and repair fiber optic cabling and related infrastructure.

• Support network expansion projects, including conduit and cabling installations.

• Conduct site surveys, maintain documentation, and update network records.

• Monitor network performance and assist with outage response and maintenance activities.

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and industry best practices.

• Collaborate with engineering, operations, contractors, and vendors on infrastructure projects.

Required Skills

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
