Job summary

xAI in Memphis is seeking a Facilities Operations Supervisor to oversee critical data center infrastructure, lead a team of Technicians, and drive performance excellence. You will manage HVAC, power, and environmental controls, while implementing SOPs and safety standards to ensure reliability.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in critical facilities, strong BMS experience, and proven leadership in technical operations, with PMP or EPA credentials preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical/electrical engineering or related field.
• 4+ years of experience managing critical facilities systems (power, cooling, environmental controls).
• Proficiency with electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems in data centers.
• 4+ years of troubleshooting and maintenance of critical facilities infrastructure.
• Experience with building management systems (BMS) and environmental monitoring tools.
• Proven leadership in facilities infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Facilities Operations Technicians.
• Oversee maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting of data center infrastructure.
• Develop and optimize preventive maintenance schedules and system performance.
• Create and enforce standard operating procedures for consistency.
• Ensure safety compliance with regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with engineering and procurement to streamline processes.
• Utilize internal systems for inventory and asset management.
• Manage critical equipment maintenance and document resolutions.
• Partner with cross-functional teams for smooth operations.
• Lead initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Provide on-call support for incidents.
