Job summary

Oracle is seeking a construction project coordinator to support data center builds with colocation providers. The role focuses on schedule and budget oversight, quality control, documentation, risk management, vendor negotiations, and technical installation oversight.

You will manage data center construction, develop schedules and budgets, create project docs, oversee QC, conduct site walks, and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely, compliant delivery.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in construction project management, preferably in data center or colocation environments.
  • Strong knowledge of design, commissioning, and quality control standards for data center facilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and manage project schedules and budgets.
  • Experience negotiating and managing vendor and contractor contracts.
  • Familiarity with power, cooling, networking, and structured cabling installations.
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management.
  • Risk assessment and mitigation experience.
  • Problem-solving skills and analytical mindset.
  • Ability to adapt to changing resources or timelines and maintain project efficiency.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and process improvement.
  • U.S. based or U.S. customer-facing roles may be required to comply with immunization, occupational health, and drug testing requirements.

  • Implement and oversee quality control processes to meet design specifications and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular site walks to monitor schedule, coordination, and quality.
  • Assist in startup and commissioning phases of major data center projects, ensuring systems are operational.
  • Identify and evaluate risks, recommend mitigation and corrective actions.
  • Serve as primary point of contact between the company and colocation providers.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with external vendors, contractors, and suppliers, ensuring compliance and performance.
  • Oversee installation of power, cooling, networking, and structured cabling systems.
  • Coordinate tenant fit‑out projects, integrating design, construction, and commissioning.
  • Foster collaboration across teams, build stakeholder relationships, and support effective partnerships.
  • Analyze data to troubleshoot issues and share best practices.
  • Pursue continuous learning and process improvement.

Benefits & Compensation

USD salary range $91,400–$187,000 per year, plus bonuses and equity.
