Job summary

Controlled Contamination Services is seeking a Data Center Technician I to maintain cleanliness in controlled environments, including ceilings, walls, equipment, and floors, meeting strict data center standards.

The role requires familiarity with cleaning chemical components, adherence to SOP/SOW, and participation in ongoing safety and skill training. A GED/HS diploma or equivalent experience is expected; background check and I-9 clearance are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Ability to add/subtract two-digit numbers and work with money, weights, volume and distance.
• Must become familiar with cleaning chemical components and safety requirements.
• Ability to learn and understand Scope of Work & Standard Operating Procedures.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Pass a background check and I-9.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning operations under strict guidelines.
• Participate in continuous training: Data Center, technical skills, safety, performance improvement.
• Clean all surfaces including ceilings, walls, equipment, and floors in the general & critical environment.
• Follow customer SOP/SOW documentation in precise detail.
• Identify deviations in cleaning and implement corrective/preventative actions.
• Review changes to SOP/SOW and retrain as needed.
• Assist in cross-training of other personnel.
• All other duties as defined by supervisor.
