Amazon Data Services, Inc. seeks a Data Center Engineering Technician to monitor and maintain critical electrical and mechanical infrastructure in a state-of-the-art data center in Andrews, TX.

The role emphasizes hands-on troubleshooting of generators, switchgear, UPS, PDUs, cooling systems, and related equipment, with a focus on 24/7 reliability and safety. The ideal candidate has 1+ years of electrical or mechanical facilities maintenance and is prepared to work flexible shifts, including

Qualifications

1+ years of electrical or mechanical facilities maintenance experience.
1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience.
Work flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Daily building rounds to monitor electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment.
Monitor Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Management System (EPMS).
Assist in troubleshooting facility and rack-level events within SLA.
Perform rack installs and decommissioning within SLA.
PM, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment.
Technical writing to support change management program.
