Job summary

Amazon in Georgia/Covington seeks an Engineering Operations Technician II for Data Center facilities. You will maintain and troubleshoot mission-critical systems, including diesel generators, three-phase power, UPS, PDUs, chillers, cooling towers, and fire/life safety equipment.

The role requires flexibility for shifts up to 12 hours, potential travel between sites, and on-site collaboration with contractors. A relocation stipend is offered for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of electrical and mechanical facilities maintenance.
• 2+ years of electrical facilities maintenance and 1+ years of mechanical facilities maintenance.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Daily building rounds to monitor electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment.
• Monitor Building Management Systems (BMS) and EPMS.
• Troubleshoot facility and rack-level events within SLA.
• Perform rack installs and decommissioning within SLA.
• PM, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and repair of equipment.
• Technical writing to support change management.
• Manage daily work requests and complete projects from conception to completion.
• On-site support of contractors and vendors per established procedures.
• Possible shifts up to 12 hours and rotation; travel between sites may occur.
