Job summary

AWS Data Center Engineering Technician role at Amazon Data Services, Inc. supports data centers across the United States, including Wink, TX. You perform hands‑on electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, monitor critical infrastructure, and ensure 24/7 reliability within internal SLAs.

This role requires travel between sites and shifts up to 12 hours, including weekends. Ideal candidates have 2+ years of electrical/mechanical experience and an associate or higher education in a related field,

Qualifications

• 2+ years of electrical and mechanical experience.
• Ability to work on a flexible schedule including days, nights, and/or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Daily building rounds to monitor electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment.
• Monitor Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Management System (EPMS).
• Assist in troubleshooting facility and rack‑level events within SLAs.
• Perform PM, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment.
