Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Engineering Technician to maintain and troubleshoot mission-critical data center facilities, including diesel generators, switchgear, UPS, PDUs, CRAC, chillers, cooling towers, and fire/life safety systems.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining electrical and mechanical facilities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Monitor electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment for uptime and reliability.
• Troubleshoot facility and rack-level events within SLAs.
• Perform PM, troubleshooting, and repairs on electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Prepare technical writings to support the change management program.
• Coordinate with contractors, sub-contractors, and vendors on-site.
