Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Operations Technician to support the operations of AWS data centers. You will perform hands-on maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting of critical electrical and mechanical infrastructure to ensure 24/7 reliability.

Role involves on-site work, rotating shifts, and collaboration with contractors. The position requires lifting and working at heights, with overtime and night differential in some locations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of practical experience in electrical systems, mechanical systems, HVAC, and/or fire suppression systems.
• Ability to work on-site in data center environments.
• Willingness to perform physically demanding tasks and operate at heights.

Responsibilities

• Daily building rounds to monitor electrical, mechanical, and life-safety equipment.
• Monitor and troubleshoot BMS and EPMS systems.
• Assist in rack installs and decommissioning within SLAs.
