Job summary

DTCC is seeking a Data Center Operations Associate to support day-to-day data center environments, ensuring availability, reliability, and security of critical infrastructure essential to global market operations. You will manage hardware lifecycles, perform rack-and-stack tasks, and coordinate with multiple teams and vendors to drive operational excellence.

The role requires hands-on experience in mission-critical data centers, strong problem-solving skills, and meticulous documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years in data center operations or related field.
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Experience with DCIM or infrastructure monitoring tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support daily data center operations including equipment installations and asset tracking.
• Perform rack-and-stack, cabling, labeling, and connectivity verification.
• Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with standards and best practices.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and service requests promptly and professionally.
• Coordinate with internal teams, service providers, and vendors for infrastructure projects.
• Maintain documentation including rack elevations, cabling records, and inventories.
• Assist with disaster recovery and site readiness activities.
• Support capacity planning through infrastructure assessments and utilization reports.

The Impact you will have in this role:

As a Data Center Operations Associate, you will play a critical role in supporting the day-to-day operations of DTCC's mission-critical data center environments. You will help ensure the availability, reliability, and security of infrastructure that supports global financial market operations. This role requires a hands-on professional who can effectively manage physical infrastructure, support technology deployments, monitor facility operations, and respond to incidents while maintaining the highest standards of operational excellence.

Your Primary Responsibilities:

• Support daily data center operations including equipment installations, decommissions, hardware lifecycle management, and asset tracking.
• Perform rack and stack activities, cabling, labeling, and connectivity verification for network, server, and storage infrastructure.
• Conduct routine inspections and audits to ensure compliance with operational standards and best practices.
• Respond to operational incidents, alarms, and service requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Coordinate with internal technology teams, service providers, and vendors to support infrastructure projects and maintenance activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation including rack elevations, cabling records, inventory databases, and operational procedures.
• Assist with disaster recovery, business continuity, and site readiness activities.
• Support capacity planning initiatives through infrastructure assessments and utilization reporting.
• Promote a culture of safety, operational excellence, and continuous process improvement.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4 years of related experience in data center operations, infrastructure support, facilities operations, or technology operations.
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.

• Experience working in a mission-critical data center environment.
• Knowledge of data center infrastructure including servers, network equipment, structured cabling, power distribution, and cooling systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot operational issues and coordinate resolutions across multiple teams.
• Experience utilizing DCIM, asset management, or infrastructure monitoring tools is preferred.
• Ability to lift and move equipment and work within a physical data center environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to operational accuracy.

The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations.
