Job summary

The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) is seeking a Data Center Operations Associate in a hybrid role. You will support day-to-day data center operations, manage installations and asset tracking, and coordinate with internal teams and vendors to ensure uptime and reliability.

You will monitor infrastructure, drive incident response, and contribute to disaster recovery and site readiness efforts while upholding safety and operational standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 4 years of data center operations experience.

Responsibilities

• Support daily data center operations including equipment installations, decommissions, hardware lifecycle management, and asset tracking.
• Perform rack and stack activities, cabling, labeling, and connectivity verification for network, server, and storage infrastructure.
• Conduct routine inspections and audits to ensure compliance with operational standards and best practices.
• Respond to operational incidents, alarms, and service requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Coordinate with internal technology teams, service providers, and vendors to support infrastructure projects and maintenance activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation including rack elevations, cabling records, inventory databases, and operational procedures.
• Assist with disaster recovery, business continuity, and site readiness activities.
• Support capacity planning initiatives through infrastructure assessments and utilization reporting.
• Promote a culture of safety, operational excellence, and continuous process improvement.

The Impact You Will Have In This Role

As a Data Center Operations Associate, you will play a critical role in supporting the day-to-day operations of DTCC's mission‑critical data center environments. You will help ensure the availability, reliability, and security of infrastructure that supports global financial market operations. This role requires a hands‑on professional who can effectively manage physical infrastructure, support technology deployments, monitor facility operations, and respond to incidents while maintaining the highest standards of operational excellence.

Your Primary Responsibilities

• Support daily data center operations including equipment installations, decommissions, hardware lifecycle management, and asset tracking.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of related experience in data center operations, infrastructure support, facilities operations, or technology operations.
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.

• Knowledge of data center infrastructure including servers, network equipment, structured cabling, power distribution, and cooling systems.

• Experience utilizing DCIM, asset management, or infrastructure monitoring tools is preferred.
• Ability to lift and move equipment and work within a physical data center environment.

The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations.
