Job summary

SMC Corporation is seeking a Global IT Data Center Engineer in Noblesville, IN to ensure infrastructure availability, performance, and security. The engineer will work with an advanced team, support data protection platforms (Rubrik, Dell EMC), and contribute to DR testing and incident response.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT enterprise networking experience.
• Experience with VMware vSphere 7+ in multi-site environments.
• Administration of VMware and storage platforms in production.
• Windows Server 2012+ and security policy experience required.
• Familiarity with data protection platforms and DR procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain data center infrastructure availability and performance.
• Deploy servers and virtual environments (VMware, Windows, Linux).
• Configure and manage storage, backup, and DR processes.
• Support incident response and cyber recovery efforts.
• Develop documentation for the data center knowledge base.
• Work with enterprise teams to ensure uptime for networks and datacenters.
