Job summary

Astreya Partners, LLC in Cupertino, CA is seeking a Data Center Engineer III to design datacenter collocations, infrastructure hardware, and provide technical consultations. You will build drawings for POPs, develop scopes of work, and produce detailed installation procedures for optical transport and power systems.

You will collaborate with Network Engineering, Facilities Operations, and vendors to ensure timely and accurate deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5–8 years of related experience.
• Experience with data center practices including cable routing and power calculations.
• Ability to create As-Built drawings and SOWs for POP builds.
• Excellent communication and ability to work with vendors and global teams.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and support a large-scale production network and server infrastructure in data centers and POP sites.
• Document equipment power requirements and coordinate with teams to meet them.
• Manage project timelines to support network turn-up.
• Maintain asset management for networking gear in data centers and POP sites.
• Create network/server rack elevations, floor plans, wiring diagrams, and port maps.
• Prepare statements of work for vendors at POP sites.
