Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking an electrical maintenance specialist to join a facilities team in a data center environment with continuous 24/7 coverage. The role supports the center on a 1st shift, 6:30am–2:30pm schedule, 8-hour shift, with a 10 days on/4 days off cycle and starting on a Wednesday.

Workdays include alternating weekends. The position requires maintaining electrical infrastructure, coordinating with contractors, and adhering to OSHA safety practices.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship is required.
• Experience with commercial voltages, energized circuits and applicable codes.
• Knowledge/experience inspecting and maintaining HVAC systems.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and safely use electrical PPE and tools.
• Experience with CMMS and building automation systems (BAS).
• Familiar with hand tools, meters, valves and piping; electrical aptitude.
• Eligible to obtain U.S. security clearance (Top Secret) and work on-site.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain data center electrical infrastructure (low/medium voltage switchgear, transformers, MCCs, UPS, emergency generators, distribution panels).
• Inspect and maintain electrical systems and accessories (cooling towers, chillers, AHUs, exhaust fans, pumps, motors, controls).
• Perform preventative, reactive, and corrective maintenance; troubleshoot and test systems.
