Job summary

Align is seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to oversee onsite electrical installation for data center construction in the Atlanta area. You will lead field teams, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure safe, on-schedule work that meets project specs.

The role focuses on electrical power infrastructure including busway, switchgear, panels, feeders, conduit, grounding, and equipment connections. Travel ~50% may be required to support multiple data center sites.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years electrical construction; leadership role.
• Experience leading electrical work in data centers or mission-critical facilities.
• Strong knowledge of power distribution, conduit, feeders, grounding, bonding.
• Ability to read drawings, single-line diagrams and submittals.
• Experience supervising crews, coordinating subcontractors, and managing field schedules.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily electrical installation activities, coordinating crews, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Plan manpower, materials, equipment, and sequencing to support project schedules.
• Oversee installation of power distribution equipment, busway, PDUs, conduits, grounding.
• Review drawings and submittals to guide field execution.
• Coordinate with PMs, GCs, clients, and other trades to resolve conflicts.
• Monitor workmanship, address deficiencies and schedule risks.
• Maintain daily reports, RFIs, change orders, and as-built updates.
• Enforce safety requirements and procedures for shutdowns and energizations.
