Job summary

EMCOR is seeking an Electrical Superintendent to lead data center construction efforts, directing field teams, ensuring schedule adherence, and coordinating with managers, clients, and subcontractors. The role emphasizes training, safety, and seamless operation across multiple projects.

The ideal candidate will have three+ years in electrical supervision, strong communication, and the ability to read construction documents.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years' experience on construction projects as Electrical Superintendent or Electrical General Foreman.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents.
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full‑time basis without employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise activities determining the construction method, sequencing, manpower levels, material quantities, equipment, and work schedule.
• Help train and manage other field staff.
• Manage day-to-day construction operations of multiple mid-sized projects or a single large project.
• Create and maintain project schedules; monitor critical path dates and milestones.
• Communicate site problems, conflicts, schedules, and quality issues to the Project Manager and owner.
• Resolve field construction problems.
• Maintain open communication between all subcontractors to ensure materials, equipment, inspections, etc., support project activities and schedule.
• Monitor safety program compliance; conduct weekly safety inspections and toolbox talks; implement corrective measures.
• Assist Safety Department with incident investigations.
• Understand all subcontractors’ scopes and ensure they meet schedules and quality standards.
• Assist Project Manager with change orders, cost forecasts, and schedule coordination.
