Job summary

Zekelman Industries seeks a Data Center Electrical Superintendent to lead field execution on high‑profile Texas projects. You will supervise safety, quality, and schedule while coordinating with owners, engineers, and subcontractors, mentoring foremen and crews.

This field‑based role requires extensive travel across Texas and a hands‑on leadership style to deliver critical electrical infrastructure. Experience with NEC, NFPA 70E, LOTO, and commissioning is valued.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of electrical construction experience.
• 5+ years in a Superintendent, General Foreman, or comparable leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of NEC, OSHA regulations, NFPA 70E, LOTO procedures.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings, BIM models, and schedules.
• Proven success leading multiple crews and meeting production goals.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall field leadership for electrical construction activities including safety, quality, productivity, manpower planning, logistics, and schedule execution.
• Lead and mentor foremen, general foremen, craft professionals, subcontractors, and support personnel.
• Develop manpower forecasts, crew-loading plans, work-area assignments, shift schedules, and resource plans.
• Manage daily work plans, three-week look-ahead schedules, installation sequencing, and recovery plans.
• Coordinate activities with owners, general contractors, engineers, equipment vendors, inspectors, commissioning teams, and trade partners.
• Oversee installation of medium-voltage systems, switchgear, transformers, UPS/battery systems, generators, busways, cable trays, grounding, and controls.
