Miller Electric Company in Richmond, VA, seeks a Data Center Construction Project Manager to lead complex IT/telecom buildouts. You’ll own project scope, budgets, and schedules, report to senior leadership, and interact with clients, vendors, and internal teams.

The role requires 3+ years in electrical construction PM and 1+ year in large-scale IT/data center projects. Relocation assistance is provided, and a strong benefits package supports health, retirement, and growth.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Electrical Construction Project Management experience.
• 1+ years building large scale IT/Telecommunications Infrastructure projects, including Data Centers installations.
• Experience with Data Center electrical distribution systems, cabling, and white space fit-out.
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with policies and project requirements.
• Maintain site safety and adherence to national policies.
• Generate estimates and review project proposals.
• Establish project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for projects up to $100M.
• Supervise project execution to meet design, budget, and schedule requirements.
• Collaborate with customers to clarify and meet expectations before, during, and after project completion.
• Work with vendors to ensure timely procurement and delivery.
• Lead efforts for billing early and collecting often.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address issues.
• Develop and maintain strong client and employee relationships.
• Forecast financial direction to course correct as needed.
