The role emphasizes collaboration with engineering teams, QCx, GC, EC and PM to deliver quality installations on schedule. The candidate should bring 10+ years in electrical work, expertise in data center concepts, NEC/NFPA 70E/OSHA, and experience

Qualifications

• 10 years of electrical experience preferred.
• Knowledge of data center design concepts, NEC, NFPA 70E, and OSHA.
• Experience with medium voltage power distribution (AIS & GIS).
• Former experience as FSR or NETA tester.
• Ability to read electrical, mechanical, and controls schematics.
• Ability to work with Engineering and Quality teams to develop tests.
• Experience in bidding, designing, operating and commissioning electrical systems.
• Experience with power systems and electrical testing and standards.
• Demonstrated skills in requirements gathering, scheduling and budgeting.
• Understanding of short circuit coordination & arc-flash (SCCAF).
• Great attitude with internal/external customers.
• HV/MV/LV systems with switchgear, cables, terminations, transformers.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with core team to develop data center electrical designs from BOD to IFC.
• Navigate construction and commissioning issues across HV to LV systems.
• Remediate issues, maintain schedule, and ensure quality installation.
• Manage power system issues during concept to on-site installation.
• Interface with global and local engineering teams to deliver solutions.
• Update internal design specs and drawings with lessons learned.
• Develop training and documentation for quality tools and processes.
• Inspect medium voltage terminations and oversee MV cable pulls.
• Track budgets, scheduling, and contractor resource assignments.
• Review proposals, SOWs, bids, and design reviews.
