Job summary

Intermountain Electric, Inc. (IME) seeks an Assistant Project Manager to support planning, coordination, and execution of large-scale, schedule-driven electrical construction projects, including data centers and critical infrastructure. This role requires ownership, urgency, and collaborative leadership.

You will partner with the Project Manager, manage resources, monitor progress, and ensure safety, quality, and documentation integrity across field and office teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field.
• Experience in industrial/commercial electrical construction projects.
• Strong communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to travel to construction sites.
• Proficiency with MS Office; familiarity with Procore/Bluebeam preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing comprehensive, schedule-driven project plans.
• Coordinate resources and assign tasks to keep work on schedule.
• Monitor progress, manage risks, and support change management.
• Maintain project documentation and foster client relationships.
• Support safety programs and quality control activities.
