Job summary

Gilder Search Group is seeking an Electrical Project Manager to lead data center construction in Miami, FL. You will manage cradle-to-grave projects, coordinate with contractors, vendors, and clients onsite, and ensure safety, schedules, and budgets align with design and standards.

The ideal candidate has 5-10 years of electrical construction PM experience, hands-on knowledge of UPS, switchgear, generators, and PDU systems, and the ability to drive multi-project delivery in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Experience leading data center construction projects as a General Contractor or similar
• Budgets of $100M+ managed
• 5+ years as a licensed journeyman electrician a plus
• 5+ years of supervision / people management
• Strong knowledge of electrical trades and safety practices
• Experience interpreting electrical/mechanical drawings and specs
• Client-facing / client management experience
• Travel to project sites as needed

Responsibilities

• Lead data center construction projects end-to-end from cradle to grave
• Manage project budgets, change orders, and procurement
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and client teams onsite
• Prepare and review project plans, schedules, and staffing
• Maintain logs and reporting to track progress and costs
• Ensure safety and OSHA standards on all sites
• Lead liaison with multiple departments and stakeholders
• Drive value engineering and on-time project delivery
