Job summary

Google is seeking an Lead Electrical Engineer to drive power infrastructure design and on-site execution for data center projects across multiple U.S. locations.

You will bridge design and field execution, ensure safety and compliance, and mentor contractors to deliver reliable, scalable power systems. You will guide technical decisions, resolve design ambiguities, and help implement improvements that boost efficiency and uptime in critical facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or related field.
• 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, including power distribution and construction support for mission-critical facilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical liaison during construction and provide engineering solutions.
• Perform periodic site walk-throughs and review installation quality for conformance to drawings.
• Identify and resolve conflicts between design intent and site constraints before impacting schedules.
• Apply NEC/NFPA and industry standards to ensure safe, compliant installations.
• Mentor electrical contractors and streamline RFI processes.
