Job summary

US Tech Solutions is seeking an electrical engineer to design and review electrical systems for data center infrastructure. You will prepare technical requisitions, BOMs, and ensure compliance with IEC, NEC, NFPA, and other codes.

The role involves vendor interaction, site visits, and coordinating with procurement and construction teams. The ideal candidate has 2–10 years in electrical design for data centers, strong CAD/BIM skills, and experience negotiating with regulatory authorities.

Qualifications

• 2 to 10 years’ experience in electrical design and/or electrical engineering.
• Experience with data center infrastructure and high-density environments.
• Proficient with CAD and BIM software.
• Direct experience negotiating with regulatory agencies for design approval.

Responsibilities

• Check and approve drawings and documentation to meet industry standards.
• Prepare TRs for electrical systems and calculate BOMs.
• Review vendor quotations and provide feedback to procurement.
• Provide technical support during construction and RFIs.
• Attend site visits and commissioning activities as needed.
