Job summary

RJM Technologies is seeking a Construction Deputy Project Leader for a large-scale data center construction project in the Charlotte area. You will coordinate on-site electrical construction, commissioning, and documentation, interfacing with the client, teams, vendors, and OEMs.

The role requires a 5+ year electrical engineering background, data center experience, and strong vendor management. Procore skills are preferred, with PMP not required but a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 5+ years of experience.
• Electrical background, preferably in data centers or critical infrastructure.
• Experience coordinating OFCI on large-scale projects.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and understand procedures.
• Procore experience preferred for documentation and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate on-site electrical construction and commissioning with client and teams.
• Oversee progress on busway inspection and PDC verification workstreams.
• Perform daily site walks to identify blockers and escalate issues.
• Coordinate with multiple OEM vendors and manage vendor relationships.
• Maintain quality documentation and Procore entries per client standards.
• Drive accountability across subcontractors and escalation of underperformance.
• Provide daily and weekly progress reporting to client leadership.
