Job summary

TechPro Power Group's Technical Diagnostic Services unit is seeking an Electrical Commissioning Field Service Technician to support a Data Center project in Lancaster, Texas. The role involves hands-on testing, switchgear maintenance, and reading electrical schematics. Travel to various sites across the U.S.

will be required, with a strong emphasis on safety and customer communication. The position is full-time, Monday–Friday with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in switchgear installation, testing and maintenance in industrial/utility/data center environments.
• OSHA and NFPA 70E safety standards knowledge and application.

Responsibilities

• Perform Acceptance Testing for electrical equipment in Data Center facilities.
• Safely use hand/power tools, metering and testing equipment.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to meet project timelines.
• Follow safety protocols and regulatory guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
